Chiropractic is an effective therapy for bio-mechanical conditions both chronic and acute. Chiropractic adjustments of the spine and other joints of the body decrease pain, increase mobility and restore the overall function of joints, muscles and ligaments. Chiropractic is both safe, effective and non-invasive. There have been hundreds of studies proving the effectiveness of chiropractic for low back pain and other conditions. In a report in 2004, WSIB found chiropractic the most effective for low back pain recovery. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Program of Care for Acute Lower Back Injuries: One-Year Evaluation Report, June 2004 Adjustments can have multiple effects, including:
- pain reduction
- improved joint motion
- improved joint nutrition
- decreased nerve pressure
- improvement of life
In addition to treating the neck, upper and lower back, Chiropractic can be used for problems in the shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, as well as the hips, knees, ankles and feet.
